Swift ("Swift," "we," "us," or "our") is a software service owned and operated by KBR Social LLC ("KBR Social LLC").

Swift provides software designed to help ecommerce merchants manage advertising, product information, inventory-related advertising actions, performance data, and related marketing operations.

This Privacy Policy explains how KBR Social LLC collects, uses, discloses, stores, and otherwise processes information when you access or use the Swift website, application, Shopify integration, advertising platform integrations, and related services, collectively referred to as the "Service."

By accessing or using Swift, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

 


1. Definitions

Personal Data

"Personal Data" or "Personal Information" means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked with an individual.

Merchant

A "Merchant" is a business, store owner, administrator, employee, agency, or other authorized person who installs, connects, accesses, or uses Swift.

Store Data

"Store Data" means information Swift receives from an ecommerce platform such as Shopify in connection with a Merchant's store.

Depending on the permissions granted to Swift, Store Data may include information such as:

  • Store name and store identifier

  • Store domain

  • Product titles and descriptions

  • Product IDs

  • Product URLs

  • Product images

  • SKUs

  • Variants

  • Prices

  • Collections

  • Inventory quantities

  • Inventory availability

  • Product status

  • Product tags

  • Order and transaction information used for reporting or performance measurement

  • Product-level sales information

  • Refund or cancellation information where needed for accurate reporting

Swift is designed to minimize the amount of customer-identifying information it processes.

Unless a particular Swift feature expressly requires otherwise, Swift does not require customer names, mailing addresses, email addresses, or telephone numbers to provide its core advertising and inventory-management functionality.

Advertising Data

"Advertising Data" means information Swift receives from advertising platforms or that Merchants provide to Swift in connection with advertising activities.

Advertising Data may include:

  • Advertising account identifiers

  • Campaign names and identifiers

  • Ad set names and identifiers

  • Advertisement names and identifiers

  • Advertising creative

  • Product links

  • Images or videos used in advertisements

  • Advertising copy and headlines

  • Campaign objectives

  • Budgets

  • Bid settings

  • Audience settings

  • Placement settings

  • Campaign status

  • Ad status

  • Spend

  • Impressions

  • Reach

  • Clicks

  • Click-through rate

  • Add-to-cart activity

  • Checkout activity

  • Purchases

  • Conversion value

  • Cost per result

  • Return on advertising spend

  • Frequency

  • Video engagement metrics

  • Other advertising performance information made available by the applicable advertising platform

Usage Data

"Usage Data" means information generated automatically through the use of Swift, including information about how users interact with the Service.

Service Provider

A "Service Provider" means a third party that processes information on behalf of KBR Social LLC to help us operate, maintain, secure, analyze, or provide Swift.

 


2. Our Role in Processing Information

KBR Social LLC may act in different capacities depending on the information being processed through Swift.

When we collect information directly from a Merchant for purposes such as creating a Swift account, providing support, managing billing, operating our business, or communicating with the Merchant, KBR Social LLC generally acts as a controller or business with respect to that information.

When Swift processes information obtained from Shopify or another ecommerce platform on behalf of a Merchant, KBR Social LLC generally acts as a service provider or processor on behalf of that Merchant.

The Merchant remains responsible for determining whether it has the appropriate legal basis, permissions, disclosures, or consents required to provide information to Swift.

 


3. Information We Collect

We collect different categories of information depending on how you use Swift and which integrations you enable.

A. Account and Merchant Information

When you create or use a Swift account, we may collect:

  • First and last name

  • Business name

  • Email address

  • Telephone number, if provided

  • Account credentials

  • Account role and permissions

  • Store information

  • Billing and subscription information

  • Communications with Swift

  • Customer support requests

We may also collect information about additional users that a Merchant authorizes to access its Swift account.

 


B. Information We Receive From Shopify

When a Merchant installs or connects the Swift Shopify application, Shopify provides Swift access to information authorized by the permissions requested during installation.

Swift may access information including:

  • Store identification information

  • Shop domain

  • Products

  • Product variants

  • Product images

  • Product URLs

  • Inventory information

  • SKUs

  • Pricing

  • Collections

  • Product status

  • Product tags

  • Sales and order information necessary for reporting, attribution, inventory monitoring, or other Swift functionality

Swift only intends to request access to Shopify information reasonably necessary to provide the Service.

The exact Shopify permissions requested by Swift may change as features are added or modified. Merchants will be presented with applicable permissions through Shopify when required.

 


4. Shopify Customer Information

Certain Shopify resources, including orders, may be considered protected customer data even when Swift does not access identifying fields such as a customer's name or email address.

Where Swift processes protected customer data, we use it only as reasonably necessary to provide the features requested by the Merchant.

For example, Swift may process order information to:

  • Calculate product sales

  • Measure advertising performance

  • Determine purchase conversion value

  • Calculate return on advertising spend

  • Determine whether products being advertised are selling

  • Provide product-level performance reporting

  • Improve advertising-management recommendations

  • Associate advertising performance with ecommerce performance

Swift seeks to minimize the customer data it accesses.

Unless expressly required for a particular feature, Swift does not intend to collect or store customer:

  • Names

  • Email addresses

  • Telephone numbers

  • Billing addresses

  • Shipping addresses

Swift does not collect customer payment card numbers through Shopify.

 


5. Information We Receive From Advertising Platforms

If you connect an advertising account to Swift, you authorize KBR Social LLC, through Swift, to access information made available through the applicable advertising platform's APIs.

Depending on the platform and permissions granted, we may receive information concerning:

  • Advertising accounts

  • Campaigns

  • Ad sets

  • Advertisements

  • Advertising creative

  • Budgets

  • Audiences

  • Placements

  • Performance metrics

  • Conversion information

  • Campaign settings

  • Ad delivery status

  • Historical advertising performance

We use this information to provide Swift's advertising management and analytics functionality.

Swift may also use authorized connections to create, modify, pause, activate, or otherwise manage advertising campaigns or advertisements when instructed by the Merchant or when the Merchant has enabled an applicable automated feature.

 


6. Inventory Monitoring and Automated Actions

One purpose of Swift is to connect ecommerce product information with advertising activity.

Swift may monitor information such as:

  • Product availability

  • Inventory quantity

  • Product status

  • Variant availability

  • Advertising status

  • Advertising performance

Depending on the features enabled by the Merchant, Swift may use this information to identify advertisements associated with unavailable or low-inventory products.

Where a Merchant enables automated functionality, Swift may perform actions such as pausing or modifying advertisements based on inventory conditions or other rules selected by the Merchant.

Merchants are responsible for reviewing the configuration of automated features made available through Swift.

 


7. Information You Provide to Swift

We may collect information you provide when using Swift, including:

  • Advertising copy

  • Headlines

  • Product selections

  • Promotion information

  • Marketing instructions

  • Campaign settings

  • Audience selections

  • Budget information

  • Creative files

  • Images

  • Videos

  • Internal notes

  • Rules or automation preferences

  • Support requests

  • Feedback

We use this information to provide the features you request.

 


8. Authentication and Integration Information

When you connect Swift to Shopify, Meta, or another third-party platform, we may receive authentication tokens, API credentials, account identifiers, or similar information needed to maintain the connection.

We use this information only for purposes associated with providing and maintaining the integration.

We take reasonable measures designed to protect authentication credentials from unauthorized access.

You may be able to revoke Swift's access through Swift or through the applicable third-party platform.

 


9. Usage and Technical Data

When you access Swift, we may automatically collect technical information including:

  • IP address

  • Browser type

  • Browser version

  • Operating system

  • Device type

  • Pages or screens viewed

  • Features used

  • Date and time of access

  • Approximate geographic information derived from an IP address

  • Referring URLs

  • Session information

  • Application errors

  • Diagnostic data

  • Interaction data

  • Authentication activity

We use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve Swift.

 


10. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Swift may use cookies, local storage, session storage, pixels, SDKs, or similar technologies.

These technologies may be used to:

  • Authenticate users

  • Maintain sessions

  • Remember user preferences

  • Improve security

  • Prevent fraud or unauthorized activity

  • Measure Service performance

  • Understand how Swift is used

  • Monitor Service performance

  • Understand how Merchants use Swift

Provide Recommendations and Automation

Swift may analyze Store Data and Advertising Data to provide features such as:

  • Advertising performance insights

  • Product performance insights

  • Inventory alerts

  • Advertising recommendations

  • Scaling recommendations

  • Budget recommendations

  • Suggested actions

  • Automated advertising actions

  • AI-generated advertising copy or related marketing content

Unless otherwise disclosed, these features are intended to assist Merchants in operating their businesses and are not designed to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning individual consumers.

Communicate With Merchants

We may use Merchant information to:

  • Respond to support requests

  • Provide Service-related notifications

  • Notify users about account activity

  • Provide product updates

  • Communicate material changes to Swift

  • Provide billing information

  • Send administrative communications

Where permitted by law, we may also send information about new Swift features, products, or offers.

Recipients may unsubscribe from marketing communications using the instructions included in those communications.

Security and Fraud Prevention

We may process information to:

  • Secure Swift

  • Detect unauthorized access

  • Prevent fraud

  • Investigate suspicious activity

  • Enforce our agreements

  • Protect Swift, KBR Social LLC, our Merchants, and third parties

Legal Compliance

We may process information when reasonably necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable law

  • Respond to valid legal requests

  • Establish or defend legal claims

  • Protect our legal rights

 


12. Artificial Intelligence Features

Swift may provide artificial intelligence or machine-learning features, including tools that assist Merchants with advertising copy, campaign recommendations, performance analysis, product insights, or related functionality.

Information submitted to or generated through these features may be processed by KBR Social LLC and, where necessary, by third-party artificial intelligence infrastructure providers acting on our behalf.

We seek to limit information sent to AI providers to information reasonably necessary to provide the requested functionality.

Swift does not intentionally submit customer names, customer email addresses, customer telephone numbers, customer mailing addresses, or payment card information to third-party artificial intelligence services for the purpose of generating advertising content.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information to improve Swift's models, algorithms, recommendations, or Service functionality where permitted by applicable law and our agreements with Merchants.

 


13. Aggregated and De-identified Information

We may aggregate, anonymize, or de-identify information so that it can no longer reasonably identify an individual Merchant, user, or customer.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information for purposes including:

  • Improving Swift

  • Product development

  • Analytics

  • Performance benchmarking

  • Understanding ecommerce trends

  • Understanding advertising trends

  • Developing recommendation systems

  • Improving automated decision systems

  • Internal research

Where information has been de-identified, we will not intentionally attempt to re-identify it except where permitted by law.

 


14. How We Share Information

KBR Social LLC does not sell Merchant or customer Personal Information for monetary compensation.

We may disclose information in the circumstances described below.

Service Providers

We may use third parties to help operate Swift, including providers of:

  • Cloud hosting

  • Database infrastructure

  • Authentication

  • Security

  • Error monitoring

  • Analytics

  • Email delivery

  • Customer support

  • Payment processing

  • Artificial intelligence infrastructure

  • Software development infrastructure

These providers may access information only to the extent reasonably necessary to perform services for KBR Social LLC and Swift and are subject to applicable contractual obligations.

Shopify

Swift may send and receive information through Shopify as necessary to operate the Shopify integration.

Shopify's processing of information is subject to Shopify's own agreements and privacy practices.

Advertising Platforms

Where a Merchant connects an advertising platform, Swift may transmit or receive information from that platform as necessary to perform actions requested or authorized by the Merchant.

For example, Swift may transmit:

  • Campaign configuration

  • Advertising creative

  • Product URLs

  • Images

  • Videos

  • Advertising copy

  • Budget settings

  • Audience information

  • Other advertising instructions

The applicable advertising platform processes that information according to its own terms and privacy practices.

Professional Advisors

KBR Social LLC may disclose information where reasonably necessary to professional advisors such as:

  • Attorneys

  • Accountants

  • Auditors

  • Insurers

  • Financial institutions

  • Security consultants

Legal Requirements

KBR Social LLC may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is required to:

  • Comply with applicable law

  • Comply with a court order, subpoena, or other legal process

  • Respond to a valid request from a governmental authority

  • Protect the rights or property of KBR Social LLC or Swift

  • Investigate suspected fraud or illegal activity

  • Protect users or the public

  • Protect against legal liability

Business Transfers

If KBR Social LLC, Swift, or substantially all assets associated with Swift are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Any successor organization may continue to process information in accordance with this Privacy Policy unless otherwise disclosed.

 


15. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information

KBR Social LLC does not sell Personal Information processed through Swift for monetary compensation.

Swift also does not intentionally sell customer information received from Shopify.

Certain privacy laws define "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" broadly. If Swift begins engaging in activities considered a sale or sharing of Personal Information under applicable law, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any required rights or opt-out mechanisms.

 


16. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide Swift

  • Maintain a Merchant's account

  • Fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy

  • Maintain legitimate business records

  • Comply with legal obligations

  • Resolve disputes

  • Enforce agreements

  • Prevent fraud

  • Maintain security

The exact retention period may vary depending on the type of information and why it is being processed.

When a Merchant disconnects an integration or terminates its Swift account, we may delete or anonymize information associated with the Merchant following a reasonable retention period, subject to legal, security, backup, fraud-prevention, and accounting requirements.

Information contained in backups may remain for a limited period until the applicable backup is overwritten or deleted through our normal backup lifecycle.

Where appropriate, information may instead be de-identified so that it can no longer reasonably be associated with a Merchant, user, or customer.

 


17. Shopify Uninstallation and Data Deletion

When a Merchant uninstalls Swift from Shopify, Shopify may notify Swift of the uninstallation.

Following uninstallation, Swift will terminate the active Shopify integration and process applicable Store Data in accordance with our retention practices and Shopify's requirements.

Swift supports applicable Shopify privacy and data-deletion requirements, including requests transmitted through Shopify's required privacy mechanisms where applicable.

Certain information may be retained where necessary to:

  • Comply with law

  • Maintain financial or accounting records

  • Resolve disputes

  • Prevent fraud

  • Protect the Service

  • Establish or defend legal claims

Any retained information will no longer be used to provide active Shopify integration services unless the Merchant reconnects Swift.

 


18. Data Security

The security of information is important to KBR Social LLC.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from:

  • Unauthorized access

  • Unauthorized disclosure

  • Loss

  • Destruction

  • Alteration

  • Misuse

Where appropriate, these safeguards may include encryption in transit, encryption at rest, access controls, authentication systems, monitoring, logging, and restricted access to production systems.

However, no method of Internet transmission, electronic storage, or information security is completely secure.

Accordingly, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

 


19. International Data Transfers

KBR Social LLC, Swift, and our Service Providers may process information in the United States and other countries.

As a result, information may be transferred to and processed in a country other than the country in which the Merchant, user, or customer is located.

Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of Personal Data.

 


20. Merchant Responsibilities

Merchants are responsible for their own compliance with applicable privacy, consumer-protection, advertising, ecommerce, and data-protection laws.

A Merchant is responsible for ensuring that:

  • It has authority to connect its Shopify store to Swift

  • It has authority to connect advertising accounts to Swift

  • Users it authorizes to access Swift have appropriate permission

  • Its own privacy policy accurately describes applicable processing

  • It obtains any legally required consumer consent

  • It honors applicable consumer privacy rights

  • Its use of Swift complies with applicable platform terms

Swift's processing of Store Data on behalf of a Merchant does not replace the Merchant's own privacy obligations.

 


21. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning your Personal Data.

These rights may include the right to:

  • Know whether we process your Personal Data

  • Access your Personal Data

  • Obtain a copy of your Personal Data

  • Correct inaccurate Personal Data

  • Request deletion of Personal Data

  • Request restriction of certain processing

  • Object to certain processing

  • Obtain portable copies of certain information

  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

  • Opt out of certain sales, sharing, profiling, or targeted advertising where applicable

Privacy rights are not absolute and may be subject to exceptions under applicable law.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

If your request concerns information Swift processes solely on behalf of a Shopify Merchant, we may direct the request to the applicable Merchant or cooperate with that Merchant in responding to the request.

22. European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Similar Jurisdictions

Where the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), UK GDPR, or similar law applies, KBR Social LLC processes Personal Data through Swift under one or more legal bases.

Depending on the circumstances, these may include:

Performance of a Contract

We may process information where necessary to provide Swift or fulfill our obligations to a Merchant.

Legitimate Interests

We may process information where reasonably necessary for legitimate interests such as:

  • Operating Swift

  • Improving the Service

  • Preventing fraud

  • Maintaining security

  • Supporting users

  • Developing new functionality

We balance these interests against the rights and interests of affected individuals.

Consent

We may process information based on consent where required.

Where processing is based on consent, consent may generally be withdrawn.

Residents of certain U.S. states, including California, may have additional rights concerning their Personal Information.

24. Payments

Swift may offer paid subscriptions or services.

If payments are processed by a third-party payment processor, payment-card information is provided directly to that processor.

KBR Social LLC does not intend to store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes on its own systems.

The payment processor's handling of payment information is governed by its own privacy policy and terms.

 


25. Third-Party Services and Links

Swift may integrate with or contain links to third-party services.

These services may include ecommerce platforms, advertising platforms, analytics providers, payment providers, authentication providers, and other software.

KBR Social LLC does not control the privacy practices of third parties acting independently from Swift.

Merchants should review the privacy policies and terms of third-party services they choose to use.

 


26. Children's Privacy

Swift is a business software application and is not intended for children under 13.

KBR Social LLC does not knowingly collect Personal Information directly from children under 13 through Swift.

If we become aware that a child has provided Personal Information directly to Swift without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete the information.

 


27. Do Not Track

Some web browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting.

Because there is not currently a universally accepted standard for interpreting these signals, Swift may not respond to all traditional browser Do Not Track signals.

Where applicable law requires recognition of a legally recognized browser-based opt-out preference signal, we will process such signals as required.

 


28. Changes to This Privacy Policy

KBR Social LLC may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect:

  • Changes to Swift

  • New features

  • New integrations

  • Changes to our business practices

  • Changes in legal requirements

  • Changes in third-party platform requirements

When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above.

Where required, we may also provide notice through Swift, by email, or through another appropriate method.
